It adopts CAT3516B diesel engine,control software based on standard IEC61131-3,broad gauge bogie with splayed traction pin, full automatic coupler and chain coupler with buffer disk. The overall layout of the diesel locomotive is reasonable.The performance is excellent and the quality is reliable. It can apply to environment condition of salt-fog and desert and it has successfully operated in South America.
