Out of the Blue - The Definitive Investigation of the UFO Phenomenon Buy it from Amazon

A classic documentary in its own right, James Fox, Tim Coleman and Boris Zubov have released 'Out of the Blue' in a two disc 5 year anniversary addition that makes the original even better. The new version includes updates and new interviews on some of the cases covered, paying particular attention to the 1980 Bentwaters incident, and includes a second DVD that has bonus material including a one hour documentary and outtakes.

This is probably the best UFO documentary ever made. Its concise, interesting and includes commentary from the best and brightest in the UFO field. It also has numerous high level interviews with astronauts and former government officials that add a significant amount of credibility to the subject matter. The film is well put together, and will have viewers on the edge of their seat for the duration of the film. The only problem is the use of some questionable photographs and footage, which does seem to betray a slight lack of objectivity.

Overall, this is a compelling film that beats almost all other UFO documentaries hands down. The bonus documentary is a good documentary in its own right, and the new material added to the original documentary makes this version a must have. Highly recommended.
